#102590 - Clear Polyester Permanent Labels
Both the printable clear poly Facestock and the liner are clear on this ultra glossy self-adhesive product. This clear poly label was developed for graphics applications where the label needs to disappear to emphasize the graphics. The super-clear acrylic adhesive is adaptable to many surfaces with a minimum application temperature of 53°F and a service range -40°F to 302°F.
Printing on 102590 requires graphics that are compatible with super translucent materials. Resistance to water and abrasion is technique based, determined by the customer. Because this material is so smooth printer resolution must be adjusted to 300×300 dpi or 600×600 dpi to assure best toner anchoring and to minimize toner splatter. 102590 is excellent for indoor and short term outdoor applications.

Description:
This Laser Gloss Ultra-Clear Polyester label is nearly invisible in most substrates. The special gloss topcoat provides an acetate-like appearance and permits high-resolution laser printing. Its high-tack permanent acrylic emulsion offers extended life on many surfaces. It is dimensionally stable and has a two-year expected outdoor life. This product is not recommended for indirect food contact.
Facestock
- Clear polyester film top-coated to accept laser toner
- Caliper: 2.0 mils
Adhesive:
Permanent pressure sensitive acrylic. Application environments and certain surfaces such as vinyl, glass, acrylic, styrene and polycarbonate can cause increased adhesion and adhesive transfer. We recommend that all surfaces be tested for compatibility.

Note: For best bonding conditions, application surface should be at room temperature or higher. Low temperature surfaces, below 50°F can cause the adhesive to become so firm that it will not develop maximum contact with the substrate. Higher initial bonds can be achieved through increased rubdown pressure. Maximum bonding occurs in 24 hours.
